As a sculptor mine is a visual language and as such, objects, regardless of their current incarnation are at their most basic the building blocks of form in general, which I either transmute into entirely new forms or re-establish as versions of their prior state.

Coney Island for my kids and husband borders on having a hallowed ground rating. Multiple pilgrimages to Luna Park punctuate any year's worth of Saturdays during the months it is open and a minimum of two winter trips to the beach itself complete a full devotion.

A little over 17 years ago I created the first figurine for Kelley as a gift. That first baby still sits on her desk even though we had a girl. That quality of attachment is what distinguishes the treasured objects in our lives from the rest of the stuff that collects around us.
